Hi, I'm Craig Weakley, the "camera guy" at ColorVisionWorks Photography.
Nature, God's creation, has been an inspiration to me since I was a child - my grandma, Nana, loved wildlife & forests and taught me to appreciate nature very early in my life. My love of nature lead me to photography and, for over 20 years, my passion for photographing wildlife and wild places has allowed me to intimately experience nature's beauty & to share that beauty through my photographs.
I believe businesses can & should be "change agents" that strive to improve the world we live in. My photography business is an expression of my commitment to environmental stewardship. Protecting & preserving the beauty of the wildlife and the wild places I photograph is extremely important to me. My photographs are intended to show nature's beauty in a way that inspires you to take action to protect our wildlife & wild places.

My Vision
Photography as Stewardship. Capturing images that inspire actions (donations, volunteer work) that protect & preserve wildlife and wild places.
My Mission
Creating stunning photographs that "connect you with nature's beauty."
My Core Values
1. Commitment to Excellence. I use excellent equipment, photographic technique, and professional printing to create exhibition quality fine art photographs that "connect you with nature's beauty."
2. Outstanding Customer Service. It's all about you! I do what I say I'll do. If I make a mistake, I'll correct it immediately.
3. People Matter. Business, and life, are about quality relationships, not just sales & profit. My goal is to build a long-term relationship with you that "connects you with nature's beauty" with every photo you purchase.
4. Environmental Stewardship. I'm committed to protecting wildlife and wilderness for future generations. I strive to use sustainable business practices. Through my "10% for Nature" Program, I donate 10% of my revenue to non-profit organizations that conduct research & education to protect wildlife & wildlife habitat.

Short Bio
My wife, Claudia, our 2 golden retreivers (Hartney & Monroe), & our little-black-cat (Alice) live in the beautiful small town of Anacortes, WA. It is a joy to live amidst the incredible wildlife, wildflowers, conifers, volcanoes (Cascade Mountains) and scenic beauty that surround and inhabit the Salish Sea. We enjoy participating in nature by hiking with our dogs, sea kayaking, bird watching, and whale (Orcas) watching.
I have college degrees in Environmental Toxicology (BS) & Plant Protection & Pest Management (MS) from U.C. Davis. I'm a certified Marine Naturalist & member of the Salish Sea Association of Marine Naturalists. I've worked in the organic foods movement for more than 20 years encouraging farmers to eliminate toxic pesticides & chemical fertilizer use and encouraging folks to eat healthy, organic food that is grown using environmentally responsible farming methods. My nature photography business represents my most recent effort to preserve and protect our precious environment & wildlife.
"Be the change you wish to see in the world."
