What's a Wallscape?
A wallscape is a grouping of 3 to 7 different Canvas Giclees (photographs printed on artist's canvas; see examples on the right side of this Page) or Metal Prints (photographs printed on a thin sheet of metal) displayed on a wall in your home or office. How do I create a wallscape?
Start by selecting a theme for your room. Then select 3 or more photographs that represent your theme. Based on the size of your wall space, determine the size for each photograph and then decide how you want to group the photos together to create a pleasing display on your wall. Then order a Canvas Giclee or Metal Print of each photograph in your wallscape. Finally, enjoy the display of nature's beauty that your wallscape has created in your home or office!
Selecting a Theme
Your choice of themes for your wallscape is only limited by your imagination. Your theme can be a type of wildlife (eg. Orca whales, birds, wildflowers, etc.), a location (eg. National Parks, American Southwest, a specific State, etc.), a season (spring, summer, fall or winter), a type of photograph (eg. scenic landscapes, animal faces, birds in flight, etc.), a subject of nature (eg. waterfalls, sunsets, mountains, etc.), or a color featured in your room's decor (eg. blue, green, red, yellow, etc.). Selecting Photographs
Once you decide on the theme for your wallscape, use the SEARCH feature on the Home Page to find photos that represent your theme. Simply type in a keyword that's related to your theme (eg. waterfall, flower, mammal, blue, or spring) and you'll see all of the photos that match. Alernatively, you can manually browse through the Photo Galleries on this website to find photos that match your theme. You'll need at least 3 photos (Canvas Giclees or Metal Prints) to make an attractive wallscape.
Determining Sizes & Grouping
Determine the size of each Canvas Giclee or Metal Print and how you want to group them together on your wall based on two criteria: 1) the size of your wall space; & 2) what looks pleasing and attractive to you. For most situations, the size of your Canvas Giclees or Metal Prints should not be smaller than 11 inches by 14 inches nor larger than 24 inches by 36 inches. You can choose the same size for all of the Canvas Giclees or Metal Prints in your wallscape, but I recommend that you consider including different sizes. The type of grouping you choose for your wallscape is only limited by your imagination. You can create a symetrical or an asymetrical group of Canvas Giclees or Metal Prints for your wallscape - it all depends on what will look best on your wall! When you have decided on which photos and sizes to include in your wallscape, it's time to order your Canvas Giclees or Metal Prints. To order, go to the "Photo Galleries" page, Click on the "Photo Gallery" that contains your photo, Click on the photo you want, Click "Buy," and then add a "Canvas Giclee" or "Metal Print" of the correct size to your Shopping Cart.
Orders of 3 or more Canvas Giclees or Metal Prints qualify for a volume discount. Contact me by email or phone and I'll send you a Discount Coupon Code to use when you place your order (the Coupon Code is entered during Checkout). Your wallscape discount will range between 10% and 20% based on the number and the sizes of the Canvas Giclees or Metal Prints you order.
